Today I continued working on my keyframes and have almost finished cleaning them up ready to start making breakdowns and inbetweens to finish the animation.

Today I started on my thumbnails and began cleaning them up to use for my keyframes

Started on more key frames today and took out the first two original key frames of Cee running to make things less complicated

Worked on key frames today, will hopefully have them finished by the end of this week ready to be imported into flash for animating

Today I started working on my first drawing for the animation principles 2 assignment

I took my time because I wanted to make sure that I was getting all the proportions correct and I think they still need more work on them until they are done 

Layout - 20/03

Here is my final shaded layout, I have yet to start the rough one but I will start and complete it early on Monday morning before class starts.

Layout - 19/03

Today I started to shade in the bar area of my layout.

Tomorrow I will finish the rest of this layout and start on my rough layout and I should hopefully get it all completed by the end of tomorrow.

Layout - 18/03

Today I finished off the linework for the bar, adding in a doorway with a staircase and correcting the perspective of the bottles on the shelves.

I have now just started to add in tone and have blocked in large areas of tone. Tomorrow I will start to add in all the details and start my rough layout.

Layout - 17/03

Today I continued working on my first layout, I spent most of my time fixing up the bottles and the bar chairs and also added in some lights.

Tomorrow I will also add in a door on the wall to the left of the composition. I will then begin toning in the rest. 

Layout - 16/03

Today I started working on my layout from the bar scene I created for my storyboard and animatic from last week. I have begun to start adding in more details to the bar area and have googled some reference images to help me create a realistic representation of a bar.

Tomorrow I will continue working on the taps in the bar and I will also add a few more thinks like different alcohol bottles and wine glasses.

Storyboard - 14/03

Today I finished off all of my panels with the exception of one panel which only requires a few lines until it is complete.

I have begun converting each panel into PDF's so they are ready to be imported into after effects.

On Monday morning I will finish everything off in after effects and submit my work. This weekend I may work on a few more panels as I have been thinking about adding a little more to the scene but I may not end up using these panels if I decide they do not fit or are not required to tell the story.

Storyboard - 12/03

Today I continued to work on my animatic - Today I ended up cutting out the first part of my story because it did not hold enough relevance to the rest of the story and required a scene change which would take up too much time and would require too many drawings.

I started working on just the fight scene at the bar today, here are some examples of what I have been working on.

 

Tonight I will work on any extra frames that I need to finish off the storyboard and scan them tomorrow.

Storyboard - 11/03

Today I Continued to work on my storyboards, getting up to the part where Cee flee's Enns room with the key.

Directly after this last scene of her running out of the room, the next panels show that same location turning to day time and Enn breaking open the wall in rage. After this it transitions to the bar fight.

Tonight I plan on drawing up roughs for the following panels.

Storyboard - 10/03

Today and yesterday I began working on my storyboard for my animatic due at the end of the week.

My story starts off with Cee sneaking in to steal a key from Enn that opens a portal to his homeworld after he threatened her family for not letting him into their clan. This screenshot shows the opening scene of Cee sneaking in to steal the key from Enn.

Tonight I am planning to continue working on the following panels that eventually lead to the final bar fight at the end.
